Who: The CST is a trained group of caring individuals who understand living with a mental illness. Most have been mental health consumers or are related family members.
What: The CST interviews those who are using mental health services in the county. The confidential information gathered is then shared appropriately with mental health providers in order to improve the quality of services the consumer receives.
Where: Most interviews are held in the consumer's home; however, they may take place wherever the consumer feels comfortable.
When: The surveys are scheduled quarterly at the convenience of the consumer.
Why: The CST is dedicated to the continuous improvement of mental health services available in Lebanon County. Those interviewed help by giving their opinion on what is and is not working. The CST ensures that the voice of the consumer will be heard.
